Stacey will forever be etched in our company for her easy going nature, beautiful aura and after cancellation after cancellation, her dream post covid wedding day came to life at the stunning Orua Beach House.
Now you have had time to digest and reflect on your wedding day, is there anything you would do differently?
Absolutely not, we were a covid wedding and got married on our 5th attempt so we were just blemmin over the moon to finally have our day and it was amazing.
Is there a moment or part of your day that is etched into your mind, that you will just never forget?
There were so many memorable moments from our day, but I think it would have to be when i was walking down the aisle with my Mum. She had previously been through treatment for cancer, so having her walk me down was a moment I was so grateful to have. The view was stunning , all of our closest family and friends were there smiling and the weather was beautiful. Thats one part i always think of, the feeling of how content and happy i felt in that very moment is one i wont forget.
When planning your wedding day, what details did you stress over, and what did you let slide?
I am so lucky to have worked in the wedding industry for well over 13years myself, so i knew that the key to having a stress free day is to book incredible vendors who you can just trust to let them get on and do their job. We were so lucky to have the best team in our corner and it truly is money, I'll never regret spending to have the very best be part of our day to have brought our vision to life.
What would be your one piece of advice for those currently planning their wedding day?
I don't have just one haha but they would be Book your vendors well in advance and don't skimp on the things that are most important to you. Also non peak day weddings are bloody epic so if you want a good team dont be scared to choose another day of the week! We had a sunday wedding to ensure we could keep all the original vendors we booked due to the covid changes, and it was honestly just as amazing as what a Saturday would have been.
Also definitely book Lucy and her team. They are fantastic and easily one of the most incredible vendors we had the privilege of working with. Everyone who met the team during their set up all commented on how nice and accommodating they were, and as a bride dealing with them they went absolutely above and beyond for us.
