Vendor Guide

On Site Marquee Details

  • Clear marquees are fitted with shade sails, these will be installed by our team and anyone on site on the day of your event at any time can unclip these and pull them off. We suggest if it is cloudy to take off earlier in the day, and if very hot, to take off approx 5-6pm. This is completely up to you are the hirer!
Read more on your shade sails here.

  • All walls can be rolled up or down. For a clean look, we suggest rolling up your walls WITH the bottom bar, to make the wall sit nicely.

  • If it is a windy day, please ensure your walls are completely closed.

Florists

  • Please get in touch with us ahead of your event if you have large, heavy items to hang from the marquee for the client.

  • We can hang any ropes, pulleys or structures you need to create your florals if we are told in advance - please note you must supply these items, we do not provide them.

  • Please do not hang florals pushing against marquee fabric as this will most likely create holes in the fabric and you will be liable for repairs.

  • Please do not use snips near the marquee fabric.

Lighting

  • Please do not use snips near the marquee fabric.

  • Please refer to the marquee specs for hanging points.

Stylists and set-up staff

  • Please refer to below the 'tips & onsite information' on how to use and treat our furniture.

  • Please double check the pack out date and time, as all items need to be off furniture and out of marquee before our team arrive on site.

Power

  • We do not provide extension leads from the marquee or lighting location to your power source, please ensure you or your venue has these available.

Tips & Tricks

  • All our table legs are screwed in, so please do not drag tables as this will loosen the screws. Please use 2 capable humans to lift tables. We would hate for screws to come loose and tables to not be secure!

  • Please don't drag the wooden lounges if moving these, these need to be picked up to ensure their legs do not get damaged.

  • We need power onsite to test your lighting. You will need to provide the extension cords to get from your power source to the lighting locations.

  • If your lighting stops working, this is usually because the connection between strings has become loose. Please just screw this back together and they should work again.

  • Ensure all umbrellas are down at the end of your event in case the wind builds - we don't want to have to charge you for broken umbrellas.

  • Candle wax directly on our tables will damage the table and cause irreversible damage that we definitely don't want to have to bill you for. So please use a vessel for your candles.

We ask that all other vendors working around the marquee use their common sense.
Please ensure that vendors on site are aware of any risks and possible damage that could be caused.
