A lab grown diamond costs considerably less than a mined stone of the same size, and an antique ring can land almost anywhere depending on age and condition. How long does a bespoke engagement ring take?
Allow four to six weeks with most New Zealand studios, longer if an unusual stone needs sourcing or you are reworking an inherited piece. If you have a date in mind for the proposal, start the conversation two to three months out. Ready to ship collections exist for anyone who has left it later than that.
