Lucy’s Service
Umbrellas are one of the simplest ways to make an outdoor event work in Auckland weather. They give guests shade over a ceremony, a bar or a long lunch table, and they look right in a garden, on a deck or beside a marquee.
We deliver, position and pack down across greater Auckland, and service events further afield across the North Island, including Waikato, Coromandel, Hawke’s Bay and Wellington, from our Auckland and Palmerston North depots.
Pricing is simple: market umbrellas are $48 and scalloped umbrellas are $60 per hire, for up to three days, GST included. Delivery is quoted for your address. Tell us your event date, site and how many umbrellas you need and we will confirm availability and a delivered price, usually within a couple of days.
Umbrellas pair well with our bar leaners, tables, chairs and festoon lighting, so if you are building a full outdoor setup, ask for one quote covering the lot.

Lucy’s Market Umbrellas
Our market umbrella is 2.7 m across on a timber pole, in white or black, with a 20 kg concrete base. It is the workhorse for bar leaners, cocktail areas, ceremony seating and long lunch tables, and it looks as good beside a Clear marquee as it does on its own.
Lucy’s Scalloped Umbrellas
Our white scalloped umbrella is 2.5 m across with a soft, fluted edge. It suits garden weddings, high teas and any event where you want shade with a touch of old-fashioned charm.
All umbrellas come with a weighted base, are positioned by our team, and pair well with our bar leaners, tables and festoon lighting.

How many umbrellas do I need?

A 2.7 m market umbrella shades a bar leaner with four to six guests, or a 1.8 m round table. For a ceremony or long table, allow one umbrella per two to three metres. Tell us your guest count and layout and we will recommend the number.
Do the umbrellas come with bases?

Yes. Every umbrella is supplied with a 20 kg concrete base and our team positions them on site, so they are stable on grass, decking or paving.
Do you deliver outside Auckland?

Yes, we deliver North Island wide from our Auckland and Palmerston North depots, including Waikato, Coromandel, Hawke's Bay and Wellington.
